I think Daniel hit it on the head. Most of us believed that any trail in the region would've been to soft and saturated with the recent snow melt and thaw. As you know, that first warm day or two after a cold spell is a recipes for disaster so its difficult for us to drive the distance without knowing for sure its rideable. They got hammered last winter by someone that didn't understand this. I miss it. I'm over due for some FL.

the only sloppy spot is right at the beginning where the trail maps are. I was mtn biking an average of 4 days a week for about 2 years; Im quite sure of whether or not i am creating harm to the trails. Now after the rain we are getting tonight...i wouldnt advise riding at fl

FL may be dry enough to ride today but rain is in the forecast for the next few days.

Headed up to french lick in the morning. Never been there but looks like a great trail. Any tips or heads up?
