I'm looking forward to it too- I'll be butt ass tired pining for sleep by then but it'll be worth it... look forward to NMBP Patrol- That's what the program is all about.... Getting out and helping others while riding and being an advocate for trails, landmanagers, and facility users. see evvemabike.googlepages.com/hmbahoosiertrailpatrol for more info... It's my current dump site for HTP info... Anyone wishing to organize at the local/regional level let me know. I am hoping that everyone on here will join up as it strengthens trail access and usage by leaps and bounds... Plus NMBP jersey gives us an "official" presence

13 hours on bike in searing heat sucks. But I survived... It went well, not a single incident... Spendt most of the time drinking fluids and hiding in the shade.
It's amazing how many people thought we were police. I should have used it to my advantage. o well.

Holy crap- Burdette's track is wicked cool-
i had a blast! I showed up at 730 on Wednesday and got riding. Gates are fun, the turns are fun, the rollers are fun, the tabletops are *explictive* wicked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess Marshall went out as well but ate track in turn 1 a little before I showed up- And in honor of his foul, I launched off a tabletop and landed near the bottom of the landing ramp.
Now I have raddish butt. He has stitches. I'm going to suggest we form a team, called Team Extreme Injury.
Anyone new interested? As far as I know you don't have to race ever, but you can attend the practices and ride your little heart out. It's a very cool scene out there and I'm sad I didn't do this 10 years ago.

WELL... there will be riders on the trail monitoring progress. You're a strong rider so you would be welcome to be on trail if you'd like...
There will also be others on foot/vehicle, in case of injury who will help assist/carry injured riders off of the course if necessary.
It's whatever you'd like to do..... I very much wish the Hoosier Trial Patrol was in full swing becuse this is exactly the type of event where people are needed.
There are about 5 riders who will be on the course, and maybe 20 others on foot vehicle, a couple of medical equipment dumps, and a few EMT's and probably a number of KTFD personnel for medial assists....
call if you're interested... It'll only last a couple of hours. -Kyle 2040551

My Ford Ranger. Pretty much unexciting. I still need to get a few things for it such as a hitch, rhino lined, a hitch mount bike rack, the stock rims from the ranger 4wd because they look much nicer 16'z i believe.... and a 50 cal mounted in the bed of the truck.
