Hope everyone is having a great 4th of july weekend. We're having a blast up here at Harmonie !! Not many people camping, it's weird.. Rode the trails today, they are in great shape. No dog poop on these trails nathan (ha).

Sounds like a good time. I went back out to AM today and managed to avoid hitting any piles, luckily. I haven't been camping yet this year and I want to go so bad. I usually go to Hemlock Cliffs (shh, it's secret) because it's about as primitive as you can get, and nobody is ever out there. I think I might be camping outside of Milltown then going canoeing on the Blue River on the 18th. I'm looking forward to it. ;D

I have not been there in years. Try to backpack at celina lake when I can. Hemlock is right around the corner I believe. I have always wanted to canoe or white water raft. We bought a pop up camper to go camping with and it has been great. I still enjoy primitive camping when I backpack, makes me realize how much I hate the fast paced city life.

When I was 15 or 16 I went whitewater rafting on the Youghiogheny river and had a blast. It was mostly Class IV and V rapids and was a hell of an experience for a first-timer. I'd love to go again.

man this trip was ruined by rain. not a little rain, it was a damn monsoon over there.
At least I got to ride the trails while they were in great shape on friday. i was looking forward to riding then again but mother nature held us hostage in the camper for the whole day.
I'm amazed how it rains when I go camping, always. A little rain is ok but 8-10 straight hours of constant downpour is a little much.
I also know which campsite not to pick for future trips.
