What a great trail system. I headed out from the campsite about noon on saturday and hit the loop and then the intermediate out and back.
The first mile or two of the loop was a blast! Lots of downhill rolling contour with some tight twists and turns. The rest of the trail was boring by comparison. Still a great ride.
The intermediate portion was a blast!! You can really get some speed going on this trail. I played it cautious on some of the blind corners. The penalty for failure here is obvious. Oh yeah, to keep with tradition, I managed to do another end over

A nice chunk of limb got lodged in my back wheel.I'm just glad it didn't tear out the spokes. It sure did stop the bike dead in it's tracks. Always when I'm on a downhill run too. Damn my luck. I did an awesome tuck and roll though

Saturday saw the rain so I didn't do much riding. Didn't do any riding. Wanted to take my son on the trail but that never happened. Hung out in the camper waiting for a break in the weather, which never really came. Saturday was just a nasty day, felt like I was in the smokey mts.
