Capital Hills/ Capitol View Park: Frankfort
Please note: There is a bit of conflicting information regarding the endpoint to the trailhead. Capital View does not appear to be a large park so hopefully the trailhead will be easy to find.

Trail Description:
There is technical and some nice twisting singletrack. If you go to top of the trails by the archives there are some pretty fast trails. They have redone some of the trails at the end of the upper/archives and the connecting trails that go from the upper down to the river. Overall this is a great place to ride with nice established trails. Just beware when it rains it gets pretty soupy.
There is something for everyone. The first section (a, the creek loop) runs along deer trails and zig zags down the creek and back up twice. The second section (b, the sinkhole loop) runs in and out of a couple HUGE sinkholes. The third section (c, the river trail) is a fast fun BMX style section.
(secondary info)How to get there:
From Lexington: Take 1-64 to 60. Turn right on 60, then left on East-West connector (676). Turn right on Glenn's Creek Road and then make an immediate left into the park. Once your in the park follow the road to the right and park.
From Louisville: Take I-64 to 127. Turn left on 127, the right on East-West connector(676). After crossing the Kentucky River go left on Glenn's Creek Road and then left again into the park. Now follow the road to the right and park.

Tertiary Info regarding Capitol View Park: Frankfort, KY
Capital View Park is a 150 acre park in Frankfort with approx. 9 to 10 miles of trails. Great for beginners and experienced riders. The trails are mostly tight twisty singletrack, with a few creek crossings, a cool downhill section, and some nice jumps. Great place to night ride on the way to Cave Run.
Go to the East-West Connector (Hwy 676) and turn north on Coffee Tree Rd, then go left on Glenns Creek Rd. Park by the baseball fields. Trailheads are off of the parking area and some more down past the parking area at the end of the gravel road, past the soccer fields. The good place to start is by the entrance to the parking area on the left, in the grass. This will take you past the basketball court and under a bridge (Hwy 676).
