Lake Glendale is the perfect choice for recreational activities. With over 80 acres of clearwater lake, there is a wide range of activities for your enjoyment. Our swimming area offers such amenities as a large sandy beach as well as a concession stand. If you like, take a ride on one of our paddle boats that are available for rent. Showers and toilet facilities are provided for your convenience. There are also hiking and biking trails, scenic picnic areas, and a 60 site campground with modern restrooms, showers and playground.
Directions:Lake Glendale is three miles north of Illinois 145/146 junction of Illinois 145. The park can also be reached from I-24 by taking the Vienna/Golconda exit and driving east on Illinois 146 about seven miles to the junction of Illinois Routes 145/146, then driving north three miles on Illinois 145.

Description:Very nicely laid out singletrack. Many short climbs, few rocky technical sections, some "Moab" rock, nice scenery and not much horse damage. More challenging than the Canal Loop in LBL but not nearly as tough as typical Shawnee National Forest trails.
