Ok, so I got the thing put together.... That's a start. It's not the greastest bike ever built but for what I do it's about 9 steps above what I have now. The price was right for what I got, plus it's a 22" so it really fits my lanky ass a bit better. After test riding, I suddenly realize that the Shimano Altus is gonna have to go. It's the only thing on the bike right now that I just don't like at all. It's actually the first "real bike" I've ever owned and I'm amazed at how it's geared. I've never had a bike with such a wicked climbing gear. I think I will enjoy that most of all. Good lord, when I started doing this, there was really no such thing as a mountain bike like the ones today. My first mountain bike was a rigid fork 10 speed with the shift levers on the steering neck. I rode most of the time in single speed. Scales wasn't quite what it is today but I managed to ride that beast out there. had a lot of fun at Angel mounds though. Maybe I can have even more fun now.

Slowly getting this thing dialed in to where in comfortable. Been messin with air pressures, changed pedals, need to change the bars and the grips. I have banana hands and the stock grips just suck. Otherwise its all good.
