HMBA is wrapping up the RTP grant project at Brown County State Park. This grant built the trails south of Hesitation Point and Pine Loop by the north gate.
Alex Stewart, who built the Harmonie trails, is leading the efforts. Much of the the effort will be on Schooner Trace (the expert trail). For those interested in building more trails at Harmonie, spending time with Alex and many other experienced HMBA trail builders will help you learn the art and science of trail building.
One of the main projects involves rock work on Schooner Trace. So anyone interested on doing rock work should come and see what we are up to at BCSP.
We have rally camp site #4 reserved on Friday and Saturday night, so camping is free. These are fun weekends, camping, riding, and trail work with fellow mountain bikers.
Trail work sessions start at 10:00AM at Hesitation Point. Bring your own tools if you have them, but we will also have plenty of tools.

Strong back - I'm all about that. Wish my life didn't consume so much of my time or I would be driving all over Indiana helping out.

While some tasks do take a strong back and a big pry bar, there are a whole list of projects ranging for fixing drainage issus, building bridges, and yes, rock work. We also need volunteers to help coordinate the volunteers, make sure the volunteers have water, and even take photos.
