hey- I got scolded by Alex Stewart and Ben Blitch for not riding enough.

so I'm going to go ride this week. hope to take a day and go eastward, hitting Louisville, Frankfort, and Lexington. I've got to go to Lexington anyway so that'll work itself out.

Good for you. All work and now play can result in burnout.
I can recommend Waverly in Louisville. You'll find Cap View in Frankfort. Amazingly, Lexington doesn't have much to offer.

here's some pics from my mini trip....

Capitol hills in Frankfort... I didn't get to the best sections of Capitol Hill as the rain let loose... still some cool runs

The southern part of the trail system has 200 feet of elevation change and a wild overlook of the river. Very cool place, although i did not make it to the wicked downhill sections.....

what a cool place. Well established trails that are lightning quick.
i got lost in the southern half of the trails and rode and rode and rode. I think I was doing loops but eventually found my way out...

I did manage to find high ground at the radio tower and rode downhill to the entrance then took the road back up and rode the downhill in the opposite direction towards the lake...

great fun.

Dropped my tire pressure to around 30 psi and KENDA NEVAGALS ROCK!!!

It was quite hot and it really wore on me. Looking forward to going back in the cooler fall months... and the best pic opportinities, well I was flying on the downhill and didn't bother to stop.
