I had a lot of fun out there. It's the first trail I've ridden with downhill sections that fast and challenging, and I had several close calls. Sometimes the trail surface changes from grippy packed dirt to loose round gravel, large sharp rocks, or even sand. Keeps you on your toes for sure. Unfortunately those downhill sections go both directions, so sometimes you're riding up them. I had to hike a few of them. Some of the climbs out there were just brutal though. The climb up to the microwave antenna seemed like it went on forever (1.1 miles, I think) but there was an awesome downhill section on the other side. Overall I had a great time and would definitely go back. I didn't get any pictures of the trails, sadly.

Also, to explain the "ass-raped by an elephant" comment...
Back in the Spring of '98 some friends and I went to Snowshoe, WV for spring break to go snowboarding. I was doing a 360 off of a hip and when I landed I lost my heel edge and fell on my ass. One cheek stuck in the snow, the other didn't, and "ass-raped by an elephant" was how I described my feelings. ;D
