Hello all,
As some of you may know, I am in the process of starting a mountain biking related business. Nite Owl Lighting will be starting production of LED based cycling lights in November or December of 2009. Our initial product offering will put out over 900 lumens and will retail for $300-$325, which is very competitive in the market. As a company, we intend to support mountain biking advocacy through organizations such as HMBA. Obviously, being from Indiana we will focus much of our support on the efforts of HMBA even as we hopefully grow bigger.
One of the things we are doing to secure funding for our startup expenses is to enter a business competition hosted by the Business Incubator in Muncie. We have advanced to the second round. This round required us to produce a television commercial. The winner of this round is determined by which commercial gets the most votes. So, this is where you come in. We would appreciate you taking the time to vote by following the link below. Voting started this morning and ends Friday October 16 at 10am.
