Trail Description: Best Park for a race venue in Indiana. Good climbs, all singletrack, restrooms and showers, camping, pavillions, R/V hook-ups, 1 mile from downtown area. Fast technical rolling trails on top of the hill that leads to long fast descents to the rivers edge and then back up again. Steep gully's in some sections along the river.
This trail system is one of the better single tracks in the area dispite only being a touch over 6 miles with the short track. Great for the weekend warriors passing through and someone who wants a quick challenge. The upper section is not quite as difficult as the lower section as it has a series of switch backs, rock beds 1000 yard climbs over bumpy fire roads and log skinnies over small gaps to deal with. Short track is 1.2 miles, very fast and perfect for the begining rider with little experience. Give Muskatatuck a try if you are in the area. How to get there: I-65 to Seymour (exit 50), east 15 mile on Hwy. 50, follow small blue signs to back entrance of "Muscatatuck County Park" /or/ follow hwy. 50 another 1/2 mile to hwy. 3, left turn, park's front entrance is approx. 1 mile on right. Trails are in great condition, one wet spot in the same spot and a missing bridge. Bridge near the rock bridge crossing has washed out.
