New berms are SICK!! Kodus to those who did the work. PM me if anyone is interested in fixing the creek jump. I was think of putting in an 8-10 raised bridge. So it was more of a table top or just a bridge.

Sounds good. It can't get any worse than it is now. A larger landing would help a lot.

I was thinking of 6-7 foot long 2-2 1/2 foot tall jumps on both sides of the 8 -10 foot bridge. 3 foot wide dead center of the trail. It might be a beast, over 20 foot long all together. If the rain holds off I'll be out there Saturday or Sunday before I go into work. I wanted to clear the fallen trees on the goat trail. Then I was going to take some measurements of what is to be the bridge. Probably not riding unless the trails are dry. email me if you'll be out there. Do you think Scales lake would purchase the wood if we build the bridge?

That sounds real good. It's worth a shot to ask, but I wouldn't be too hopeful for them to help with the purchase. Gonna be pretty busy this weekend but may be able to sneak away. Give me a head-up if you go.

Saw 2 new down trees today. Riding clockwise, they are just past the campsite nearest to the back gate to the park. They're pretty big and both probably need to be cut. I don't have the resources. Anyone else?

Anyone else? I have a chain saw. It's not huge but should get through 10 dia. trees in 1 pass. Sunday morning 8 or 9ish?

As of Nov. 1st gates close at 4:30. Lots of leaves down, but trails are if good shape. Kind of slick trying to get up some of the sharper hills.

hey all.... Scales has a ton of users... and everyone seems motivated enough to get out to scales and work here and there.... sooo....
here I go again... yes again... does anyone want to try for a small Dirt jump area and or pump track at scales?
also there are a few areas on trail that have not been (3 areas) tapped for air integration... sure, there are the 2 built ups on the south end, but there is a few good places for using the existing terrain as a launch with the potential for a sweet landing ramp on the backside..
It seems that there is more dedication to scales than anywhere else in the area... just food for thought. again.

Anyone want to meet at Scales @ 9am Saturday, Dec. 19 for some good, cold and possibly wet riding? I'm game if I get feedback.
