Trails are in great shape. Ran into Ron and another guy whose name I didn't get. They cut down a very large and dangerous overhanging tree on one of the fast downhill sections. Nice work guys.

BRING ON THE RHINOS!! I cleared the remaining section on down to the old lake and road bed this eve. WARNING PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RIDE THIS SECTION. The grade is too steep and needs to be bench cut out. You'll see where it gets hairy. There is a creek tributary that is not cut out yet stop there.
Can i get a show of hands of who may show up this sunday for work day? I'll be there as close to 7:30 as possible but most likely late as usual.

Ben, According to Ron's note, the group will be meeting at the shed at 7:30 am. Those that come later can hook up on the new section of trail to work. I plan on driving to the old Walnut picnic area where the gate should be open and trek in to the work around 8. I may stop by the shed and pick up some tools from the HSP shop. They don't open up "officially" until 8.

I'll be there. Is Ron planning on bringing that griddle again? If so I'll bring some eggs.

The shed is located outside the fenced in area at the HSP shop. Take the second left after the pool as you go down the hill. You can't miss it. I don't know why the shed either. Maybe its just to help get the tools down to the work area?

Sunday July 11th 7:30am just because of possible heat. Earlier the better. Lets meet at the Shed at the maintenance area on Left after you enter the park and pass the pool. We'll work out what tools we have and move on to the trail. If you arrive later and haven't been there before, turn right toward the boat ramp but keep going until you turn right and climb the hill. Travel on until you come to the first gate. Go back to the area where the picnic tables are. Follow the trail, or noise, or shortcut to the right where you can see a gap in the weeds into the woods and follow a path to the trail. Bring bug spray, water and you probably want to wear jeans and some kind of cool shirt. And maybe snacks. WEATHER
