for riding that is. I listen to about any modern rock. Some of my favorites are Theory of a Deadman, Seether, Shinedown, Buckcherry, All that Remain, Trapt to name a few.
Does anybody ever ride with thier Ipod? Ive thought about it but have not tried it yet.

I don't care for music when I ride. I enjoy the quiet of the woods. As far as getting pumped up ? I like this song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GW1_PGKGpSQIt's about skydiving but the lyrics fit mountain biking pretty good. "Energy of the Gods, adrenalin surge Won't stop 'til I hit the ground, I'm on my way for sure Up here in the air, this will never hurt I'm on my way to impact, taste the high speed dirt"

I listen to just about everything. Jam band to modern to heavy and even some hip hop.
I do ride some with my music. Mostly on the road when I am alone. It is not too bad in the woods at times, but I also like the sounds of the woods to take me away from everything else.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of All That Remains, Chimaira, In Flames, Disarmonia Mundi and Soilwork. I also like to cherrypick songs from various MTB videos.
