We are definitely not going now, we are setting our sights on Harmonie right now. If that doesn't work out I'm just gonna hook up the camper and drive it in circles for 2 days.

The group seems really reclusive to me. which can come off as arrogant none the less.
I know what you mean about the no response email. I can't tell you how many times I've been ignored. Even a "piss off" reply would be something.
I have found that people will come out of nowhere to help support a cause only if the cause is pretty big like breast cancer. It makes them feel like they are part of something bigger then they are. Ask the same people to (walk) for bike safety and.......
naw, i dont think so. not that I'm trying to compare the two, it's just an example.

Rode the entire thing today trying to map it with the GPS. Most of the trail is in pretty good shape. there are some spots that are muddy but over all is was pretty good. Of course it has just rained a bit here so I don't know how things are now I do know that the trail that leads west from the gate is a total festering muck pit extravaganza. I plowed through it but I think I now have Malaria or some amazon viral infection.

Of the lists below, are there any parts that throw up a red flag instantly to you.
These are low end bikes with obvious low end parts. Just curious if theres one or three that someone should be for warned about.
The first two are Olpran and the third is mongoose Thanks. __________________________________________________

I'm thinking of the EBC's sponsored Great Pumpkin Metric where a rider was killed in 2007. A family member has filed civil suit against the EBC and as far as I know is still ongoing. Of course EBC does have insurance (I believe through McKay insurance) but I don't know the extent of headache for the EBC. Wow, really? did he wreck or have a medical condition? How come the EBC doesn't have their own chapter for mountain biking ? I have seen them at Angel, Scales. They were also involved in the trail building at Hormonie.

Sharing videos on the Web Video sharing on the net has really exploded, and already many take it for granted. But perhaps you're getting confused by the increasing number of video sharing sites and can't figure out what's best. Well, don't worry. The folks at Movavi.com have done the hard work for you - and you'll be surprised to learn that the most popular sites aren't necessarily the best choices for sharing. ...More

Mornings suck when it's humid. Seems like 9am or 10 is the worst for the humidity. Dew point is through the roof.
it generally gets better as the day progresses. Still hotter than hell fire, just doesn't seem as thick.

First off... WELCOME to the forum.
Thanks for the heads up, I will update the site with the info you have provided. Too bad though, it's one of the closer trails.
Gotta love the politics involved.
Thanks again!!

I don't care for music when I ride. I enjoy the quiet of the woods. As far as getting pumped up ? I like this song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GW1_PGKGpSQIt's about skydiving but the lyrics fit mountain biking pretty good. "Energy of the Gods, adrenalin surge Won't stop 'til I hit the ground, I'm on my way for sure Up here in the air, this will never hurt I'm on my way to impact, taste the high speed dirt"

What do you think about flyers ? I can create flyers for the forum at work but where could I put them ? I thought about the local bike shops and the library has a community board. I posted on the KYMTB site. Doesn't seem very active but I got my invite out. I'll work on it and post it so everyone can see it. proof read it I guess. I even thought about making bookmarks to put in all the MTB books at the library. ;D Any thoughts ?

It wasn't too bad today. Tomorrow looks a bit warmer. I know what you mean about the helmet, I always have a bandana on. It helps, plus it makes me look super sexy.
