I just baked the Deliciously Cheap Energy Bar (1.5 cups of fruit, and a little extra PB) and holy batballs they are good.
I skipped on the coconut.

Will be at Harmonie Saturday AM dependent on rain forecasts. Currently NWS is calling for showers, however if those are afternoon showers I'll be there Saturday AM for trail riding and maybe a Kiosk door assessment....I was planning on painting the damn thing but with spotty chances for precip- forget it for the time being. 204 - oh five five one

Thinking of going to Harmonie Saturday AM. Forecast calls for rain but that might hold off till afternoon... Maybe. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the next 2 days and see how things progress.

More French Lick Info............... The Southwest corner of this Image is at the intersection of West County Pike Rd and Red Quarry Rd Just to the Sothwest of West Baden Springs. you can put this into google maps and it will take you to the intersection 38.558536,-86.621844 as of yet there is not 'Trailhead information' and the trails are not open to te public yet. Should be fall of 2009. In the meantime the below map is completed progress so far, with the bottom right, or southeast is the intersection of W County Pike Rd and Red Quarry Rd... Following that image is an overall conception of the trail system.

Park Map in PDF www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/files/obannon_woods_trail.pdfThe Bike Trail is "A" the Rocky Ridge Trail It appears to be only 2 Miles, however it appears that much of the trail has a 7-8% grade. Directions: Ok here's where it gets a little off the wall... For google maps directions to , type in Evansville to 7300 old forest rd sw indiana From highway 62- you cannot access Old Forrest Rd SW, as it is not a real road, and the bridge that crosses the Blue River is defunct!!! From Leavenworth east on 62, past Old Forrest Rd SW to 462, turn right/ south, till you hit Old Forrest Rd SW, and go right/ West. You will run into the park. Here's the latest SAT Map from Alex and here's the Topo (400' ft of elevation! I hope that work here will continue)

FYI- Spencer is testing a web version instructor's program as of current. Hopefully it will work well and maybe by the end of the summer the ball will be rolling. will post more when it becomes available. -Kyle

how do you like the velociraptors? there on mega discount (at least the fornt tires are) on many of the online sites.... read some dodgy reviews regarding hard cornering... what do you think?
