I might be about an hour behind you, so you pass a layered up, noob, looking guy it's me. Won't know for sure till after I get the kids off to school, not sure I can even pedal today . Tossed a kickbike together from some trashed bikes and kinda injured myself pushing it. Lol i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii212/Eville140/0c3cc15e.jpg

We got to the park and was riding around 0830... trails were firmly frozen! Was noticing some sunny wet areas as we were getting out of the woods around 1000.

Rode the trails tonight, my first night ride in the snow. Had to park at the gate and ride to the trailhead probably 1 mile or so. Only saw 1 set of tracks on Sycamore. Walnut hadn't been touched. I rode to the trails end sign and back on walnut and did 1 loop on sycamore. The trails were surprisingly easy to ride considering they were covered in snow. I tried out my new camera as well. I definetely need a little more light and angle it up more but here is a shore clip. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZgmG-PVznw

All trails were frozen tonight w/ a slight snow cover. A lot of fun. Temps supposed to get around 37 tomorrow, so you might want to ride early. Will be melting later.

Trails were still frozen and snow covered as of 11 am local time, but the sun was out and the temp was increasing. Use your own judgement. Suspect they'll be good enough today and the colder weather tomorrow will make them totally frozen again.

Trails were good early with only some ice cover in spots. Snow is basically gone now. Started raining around 10:30 and had to leave the trail about 11 am. With temps staying above freezing until Wednesday and more rain expected, the trails probably won't be rideable until late Wednesday or Thursday.

Rode this morning. Trails still mostly covered with slush that was mostly frozen. There were a few soft spots but all-in-all pretty good trails. Wasn't too cold today either. Might want to ride early. Temps in the 40's tomorrow and Sunday.

Gotta work Monday morning. Trying to cut back to working half days so could work in the afternoons... May be back to retirement in a couple of weeks, then will be ready to work almost anytime.

Cleaned off the debris from Sycamore. Too soft to ride when I got there at noon, so I walked it. Didn't have enough time to walk Walnut. There was a lot of small stuff on the trail and two limbs big enough that I had to get some help with the chainsaw from the Harmonie SP guys (can't use the chainsaw by myself - bummer). Sycamore is ready to ride once it freezes. Suspect Walnut is generally okay but should be ridden carefully the first time through. Got to go St. Louis tomorrow but hope to be back in time for the night ride.

5 of us rode Harmonie tonight. Sycamore was too muddy to ride but Walnut was surprisingly in good shape so we just did a couple out and backs.

I rode the whole intermediate trail this afternoon. I only saw one other set of tracks on the beginner trail entrance since last nights snow. Weather was perfect for a nice snow ride. I'll post pics later tonight.
