So far I love them. They grip great in the mud and loose stuff. I was having problems with my front tire washing out in turns until I got these. I think I paid $20 a peice for mine.

Trails are muddy in the usual spots but otherwise in great condition.

Man it was hot! I only did 2 loops today. Trails were a little muddy in spots.

for riding that is. I listen to about any modern rock. Some of my favorites are Theory of a Deadman, Seether, Shinedown, Buckcherry, All that Remain, Trapt to name a few.
Does anybody ever ride with thier Ipod? Ive thought about it but have not tried it yet.

Im heading out to scales in the morning if anyone wants to join me. I'll be out there around 7:30-8:00ish. Gonna try some new camera mounts on the bike.

I think flyers are a great idea. We can also try to get some out at all the local trails, like the kiosk at harmonie. Not sure where we could put them at scales. I know they used to have a sign at the front parking lot for mtbikers.

Lots and lots of beer. JK, I try to eat a lot of pasta and other carbs, especially before a race or big ride. I use those GU packs before and sometimes during a race/long ride. For training I try to ride as much as I can but I will also try to run about 5 miles twice during the week. Not sure if this will help you but it works for me.
